4. Things could not have gone more poorly if I had stripped naked and run through the Sahara with sirloins tied to my thighs.
5.I don't know if I'm dying or this is just a mild inconvenience

Pizza boxes are also a topic of discussion, yes.
My apologies Ralph, I didn't actually know I'd contacted you. It's Simon, if that helps.
oh hello good cream puff, i hope you dont mind me dropping by
[ Shoulders relax when he simply does not register who this Simon is. ]
You must pardon Ralph, but he does not remember Simon. Has Simon stopped by to see Ralph?

[Small smile. It's not surprising he hasn't met everyone yet. He's not quite as prolific as some.]
I'm sorry, I don't think I ever have. Are you new here?

[Wait.]
Who is this?
no subject
[To tell the truth, he'd at first thought it was one of his fuck buddies. Sometimes forgets to save their name and number, but... he's pretty sure this isn't the case this time.]
Hey person~~, you're the one who messaged me first out of the blue! Normally, I'd insist on hearing/reading your name first. But, given the situation is as it is, I'll give it an ass.
*A PASS
damn autocorrect. D:
My name is Ren. (#⌒∇⌒#)ゞ Whoever you are, I'm glad you're okay!
Admittedly, I'm curious as to who you are, in turn, but I understand if you'd rather not name yourself.
no subject
My name is Simom.
I apologise for messaging you accidentally.
About to conk out, but I'll return after I've slept!
Have a good rest
It was okay! :)

why plot when u can drop random texts
Just to clarify, because I didn't get the chance to ask earlier: was what happened between us something I should not do again?
no subject
I would like to avoid those same circumstances if at all possible.
As for the rest, I don't think I would mind it, provided that I was maybe warned first.
no subject
I plan to avoid recreating those particular circumstances at all costs, so that won't be a problem.
The surprise was the issue, then.
no subject
It was unfair.
[There is a distinct pout about those words.]

guess who remembered another au idea of ours and has a craving
This. This is the last thing he would ever have expected.
And yet he knows it's not a different PL600. This is Simon, the soft-spoken domestic android he crossed paths with so many times while shopping for Carl, across so many different stores, that they developed a sort of friendship. Simon, who started to smile hesitantly at the sight of him after a few meetings and then with increasing ease after a few more. Simon, who suddenly couldn't speak to him at all and would divert sharply in the opposite direction when he approached - because of his directive, Markus only realizes now that he knows something other than directive.
This is Simon, who spoke of his family with such genuine affection, now looking harried and exhausted as he welcomes Markus to Jericho with a tight-lipped smile. But can he see who he's speaking to with the flashlight beam right in his face? Probably not - Markus tilts it away, raw wonder on his expression as he whispers:]
... Simon?
insert eyes and sweat emojis here
He'd never expected to see anyone from his former life here. He never wanted to. This dark, quiet place was supposed to be totally separate from that world, and that disassociation from what he used to be helps to keep him focused on the people that need him.
He steps into the flashlight beam as it sweeps around, taking it upon himself to greet another new arrival. The sudden crashing of the collapsing structure both outside and now right above them had caused a lot of the deviant androids to tuck themselves into hiding, but Simon has a duty. He needs to protect them, if need be.
His welcome dies on his tongue at the sound of his name from behind that bright flashlight beam. His expression goes from tired and resigned to bewildered and slightly awed as he puts a hand up to block the flashlight, fingertips pressing it down to reduce the glare blindness.]
Markus?
what if: grief before revolution?
From the moment he woke up and literally pieced himself back together, Markus has been trudging forward on pure determination not to let this be the end, not to let Carl's hopes and dreams for Markus's future die in the same moment he lost his own life. Now, with someone in front of him who belongs - belonged to the life he was forced to leave behind, all the determination drains out of him just like adrenaline from a human's bloodstream and he suddenly thinks he might collapse.]
He's dead. [Markus sways on his feet. He's forgotten anyone other than Simon is even in the room.] Carl is dead.
So Markus never pushed Leo in the confrontation.
nop that version of the scene hurts me too much, i never play it
